fig 12. Paper losses were filled with 9 gsm Japanese paper and the area outside the image that did nor need retouching was filled with 5 gsm gampi paper for achieving the hue as close as possible to the original and a smooth glossy surface. Patching was retouched with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor black pencil and Windsor & Newton black watercolour.
